TAT16: Lake Rumor is the sixteenth map of Dark Tartarus. It was designed by lihanchi and uses the music track "Jazz Belmont" by Alexander Brandon, from Jazz Jackrabbit 2.

Other points of interest[edit]


  1. In the northernmost room with the super shotgun on the table, there is a button at the southwest corner of the table which opens the north wall. Behind it is lots of ammo, backpacks, a BFG9000, and a computer area map. (sector 960)
  2. In Secret #1, there is a button on the northeast corner of the table, which reveals a button high at the northwest corner of the northwest rack. Shoot that button to reveal a switch to the north. Flipping it will reveal the red skull key and the blue keycard to the south. (sector 993)
  3. At the southwest end of the lake, jump to the crate with the megasphere. (sector 97)
  4. Rocket jump up from Secret #3 to get energy cell packs from the large wooden crate. (sector 93)
  5. After getting the red keys, head south in the lake to the lava, then follow the passage east to an invulnerability and rockets. (sector 586)
  6. At the southernmost area, rocket jump to the southwest and into the lava beyond to find an invulnerability and a megasphere. (sector 522)
