I can't say how much this disgusts me. Doom was not responsible for Columbine. It does not belong in the Doom wiki. I suggest that this be removed. - Giomancer 23:12, 2 Mar 2005 (GMT)

I agree that Doom was not responsible for Columbine. However, Columbine is nonetheless important in Doom's history because of the blame it received at the time. If we are to follow a Neutral Point Of View policy then it definitely should be written up. Fraggle 08:44, 3 Mar 2005 (GMT)

Columbine is historically relevant

I am the person responsible for inserting the recent entries on Columbine and Eric Harris. I did this because I found empty links to these names in other entries, and thought the entries needed to be written. I did not write them to glorify Harris or his actions, or to imply that Doom somehow imply that Doom was resonsible for Columbine, but rather to present objective and relevant fact.

Please reinstate these entried.

Well, they aren't gone. I won't remove them myself, that's not in the wiki spirit. I will say, though, that it might be better to link this page tp the Columbine shootings entry in the main wikipedia, whatever it is. - Giomancer 02:03, 3 Mar 2005 (GMT)

official wikipedia entry is too long

I thought about linking it, but the entry is only far too long and only mentions Doom once. I referred to the wikipedia entry as my model but excised it greatly in the interest of relevancy.

...but I can't find any references to it so I may be mistaken. I think it was probably Dukrous on CNN that was the Clinton interview but I'm not 100% sure.

Clarification: Yes, it was Scott Cover on the teen panel with the Clintons, hosted by ABC (Dianne Sawyer, I think?). The only thing I did was the CNN interview, which came about because of my essay.
