This is a tricky one because it sort of raises the question of what exactly constitutes as a custom monster/weapon/item. I generally would consider something custom if it meets one of the following criteria:

  • It functions significantly differently from the default thing in the base game.
  • It has a significantly different sprite that is meant to represent a different thing (like this WAD's replacement of the chaingun with dual revolvers).
  • The authors renamed it in the DeHackEd or other documentation.

I feel that most of the enemies here don't count as custom monsters since the sprite edits are small and are mostly to tie the monsters to the western theme (the imp for example, is just an imp in a cowboy hat) but I feel the hitscanners are sort of an edge case here - does a sprite edit changing a zombified space marine into a wild west gunslinger constitute a significant enough change? These questions also apply to A Fistful of Doom and Boothill as the sprites are largely taken from these two WADs. --Matador (talk) 01:17, 13 April 2025 (CDT)

I've added non-standard looking monsters and items, added a lot of links, removed barrel as it is almost the same, fixed IDs for both types of cannonballs, added sound effect prop that is replacing the revenant. --Nockson (talk) 14:22, 9 May 2025 (CDT)
