In addition to the list of games that have used the engine, perhaps we could describe the main characteristics of the engine and point to articles of categories that describe them. There's a category already of course, but the main features could be defined in the article rather than having a skeletal one just dealing with games that use it. Engine limits for vanilla Doom[edit]

Why isn't there a section that shows the absolute maximum limits per level lump? I already know 128(?) visplanes is the maximum for DOOM/DOOM2.EXE, but what are the others? I am guessing the nodes/segs/subsectors limit is either 32,768 or 65,535...correct me if I'm wrong. ILOVEWario 13:58, 27 July 2009 (UTC) / Mr. Chris
