These are gratuitous understatements :P those of us who were around when hissy was first sewn up and sent off in '98 complained bitterly that these newbies were getting given hissy and we were left in the cold. At the time, I joked that I'd be living with mystican by the time it came around to the UK.

7 years later I did live with mystican for a year, and we've both been through the entirety of university without a sign of the norweigen wonder :( - Jon

Yes, I second that. There must be a market for Doom plush dolls; I was about to suggest super deformed plush dolls, but a cacodemon is all head, there's nothing to enlarge. Shouldn't the "Return to Norway in 2005" part be removed or changed? There's less than 20 days left of 2005.

Sex

Is Hissy male or female? I remember chrozoron said what sex it is at one point, but I can't remember which it is. Fraggle 13:29, 8 February 2006 (UTC)

I'm pretty sure the general consensus between all those "in the know" is that Hissy is female. I've never heard otherwise except from newbies. Bloodshedder 01:57, 9 February 2006 (UTC)

"Hissy in 2004"

Thoughts on this edit? Indeed, Bloodshedder's initial revisions of the main article and the file in question both state the year as 2004, but both were changed to 2003 on the same day as they were posted, by Sarge Baldy and Bloodshedder himself (1)(2). For an article created in early 2005, the picture was recent at the time so I'm personally inclined to treat the changes to 2003 as corrections. --Eris Falling (talk) 18:25, 7 September 2019 (CDT)

I found that archives of soulsphere.org/hissy in The Internet Archive existed, but it seemed all of them are only displayed Copyright, and the stats of people visited it, like it literally is the content. When exactly Hissy has been created?

• the article states sometime around 1994-1995
• Hissy section of Cacodemon article says however Circa 1997-1998 amateur Doom level designer Jonas "Chrozoron" Feragen created Hissy (...)

No, I did not. I reformatted what was already there to obey wiki style rules, which doesn't necessarily indicate my consideration of the content's value. I found it questionable.
