Part of the hub?[edit]

I wouldn't call this one part of the first hub, it doesn't fit as one... It doesn't have any of the traits that all of the other first levels of the hubs have, and seem to have no connection with Seven Portals... So is it really one of them? should we change the way we write about it? stop counting it as one of them? need feedback... {{SUBST:cchristian was here}}

Tough call. Most of the guides I've seen either place it as a "Starter" level, Pre-Seven Portals, or do indeed link it to Seven Portals... though no other map in Hexen is considered standalone, and the game gives no clues as to where it "fits", not even in numbering scheme for the levels. Flip a coin on it... this is one of those things where there really is no "correct" answer. --Dark Pulse 06:35, 19 July 2007 (UTC)
"No other map in Hexen is considered standalone"? Dark Crucible, anyone? (That's sometimes considered an epilogue map, as this one is considered a prologue.) -- 92.40.222.182 17:18, January 22, 2011 (UTC)

Burnable bushes?[edit]

Should the fact that some of the trees and bushes on this map can be burned really be considered trivia for the map? While true and potentially interesting, it is a property of the tree things themselves, not specific to the map, and there are no hidden items or passages on this map that would be revealed by burning them. -- ETTiNGRiNDER 20:40, 10 January 2014 (UTC)

That makes sense.  I suppose burnable things should be indicated in a list of Hexen things, and any hidden areas described under "Secrets".    Ryan W 22:23, 10 January 2014 (UTC)
