Bug - hidden Imp?[edit]

In the final tower (Sector 253, eastern aisle), an Imp is positioned below the floor so that he can't be accessed (killed, that is, resp. kill, or harm the player). Don't know if that happens always, or with everyone. If so, it should be marked as a bug. --Dircules (talk) 10:05, 26 May 2021 (CDT)

Not sure because he was not on his start point (presumable thing 92, 121, 196, or 209). I'm using LZDoom 3.87c. But if this doesn't occur with you, it might rather be a bug in the source port. --Dircules (talk) 10:35, 26 May 2021 (CDT)

Strange, but if it's not (easily) reproducible -- I didn't see anything unusual in Chocolate Doom and PrBoom+, though I didn't play the map from the start but no-clipped to that tower -- and not (directly) related to the starting positions of the pertaining imp(s), then I wouldn't call it a map bug that needs to be mentioned in the article. --Xymph (talk) 10:50, 26 May 2021 (CDT)
Agreed, it seems to be almost impossible to reproduce (just replayed the place, also with idclip/iddqd). Most likely, under very rare circumstances, something like what I mentioned before might happen, caused by some sort of tiny clipping inaccuracy in the map, or in the source port, or whatever...
