The Eidolon page was controversial already because it's from a game that is neither Doom series nor Doom engine, but this is probably going too far. Eidolon at least is linked to D'Sparil and Korax as a Serpent Rider, so its inclusion completes those articles. Praevus is off-topic, though. In my opinion, here's what should probably be made: a Hexen II and a Heretic II article, similar to the Quake, Duke Nukem 3D, Half-Life, Wolfenstein 3D or Shadowcaster in scope. Then things like Praevus, Morcalavin, or whatever else can be simply turned into redirects to the parent articles. --Gez 10:40, July 6, 2010 (UTC)

Minor factual note: Hexen II and Heretic II were also deleted, and Half-Life has never had an article (the link above goes to the mod).

US$0.02: Many editors contribute to the wiki only by creating brand new articles.  Therefore, topics of this "semi-notable" type will always cause controversy.  Perhaps we should have a single article to which all these names redirect, Backstory of Heretic and Hexen series.  The problematic material can then be described, but not in excessive detail.    Ryan W 21:52, July 11, 2010 (UTC)
