Talk:Quake III - Arenas

This seems only tenuously appropriate for this wiki. We don't even have an article for Quake III Arena (which features the Doom, Crash and Phobos characters), so I'm not sure a mod like this belongs here. Fraggle 21:52, July 30, 2010 (UTC)

Delete I was just about to propose a deletion. We have a Quake I article because it's the immediate successor to Doom. Quake 2 and onwards just don't make scene on a Doom site. KMRblue1027 22:00, July 30, 2010 (UTC)

Arenas as a show follows Doom as the main character. And Quake III Arena features Doom as a popular character in the game. This is the main reason this is here. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.138.211.49 (talk)

It's a notable piece of fan fiction with a fair amount of Doom references, which IMO makes it worth an article here. Although I think the article should mostly be about the Doom content in the series with the other coverage being in the minority and kept as minimal as possible. So it should definitely be cut down somewhat from its current lengthy form. -- Janizdreg 00:23, July 31, 2010 (UTC)

At the very least the excessive image use needs to be cut down drastically. IMO, this image is the only one that is needed for the article. I think the embedded YouTube video should go as well. The YouTube links in the article itself are enough. Nuxius 05:26, August 1, 2010 (UTC)
