New version[edit]
This article is not about the phenomenon described in the original essay. Furthermore, the problem described here is a map design bug, not an engine bug, and therefore should be mentioned only in the article MAP02: Underhalls (as with the missing yellow keycard in MAP31: Pharaoh and the inaccessible secret sector in MAP27: Monster Condo). Sleeping Chaingunners of MAP22[edit]
There are two blind and deaf chaingunners behind the red key door in Doom II MAP22 (on skill levels 3-5). Is it somehow related to the sleeping sergeant bug, or is it just a mapping error? -- Janizdreg 20:35, 27 August 2007 (UTC)
