Which timeline...[edit]

Do you think that Perdition's Gate and Hell to Pay should go on the Timeline of mod releases, the main Timeline, or potentially both? Since they were commercial releases, but not official ones, it's a little vague and falls into a gray zone that we rarely have to think about. They could go on both, certainly - some other events fall onto multiple timelines, such as the source code releases which are both globally relevant and specific to source ports. --Quasar (talk) 16:14, 3 March 2015 (UTC)

Given that Hacx is on the official timeline, I think PERDGATE and HELL2PAY should be on it, if not on both. I do recognize that Hacx is on both timelines in different contexts, i.e. initial commercial release vs. standalone IWAD. It may be worth documenting its initial freeware release, too.--KMX E XII (talk) 17:05, 3 March 2015 (UTC)

MIDI link[edit]

I've been updated that Perd's Gate at the least is considered freeware as Tom Mustaine stated its rights reverted to the map authors when Wraith closed, and had it for upload on his own page as a result (to which we already linked). However, that being said, I don't think it's a particularly appropriate link for this page anyways. It doesn't relate directly to the content and it's also on mediafire, which is not a stable archive. If the file is truly important then it should be somewhere more permanent. Linking it from the mod(s) in question would also be more appropriate than here where no one would be looking for it. --Quasar (talk) 11:07, 4 January 2022 (CST)
