Temple is a single-level vanilla-compatible WAD for Doom II. It was designed by Konrad Bresin and released in May 1998. The map is inspired by the Inca Empire, and tries to recreate, more-or-less, a Mesoamerican map style, albeit with very rustic and mixed results.

Walkthrough[edit]
Essentials[edit]
You start this level in front of a pyramid and surrounded by imps. Go up the pyramid by taking the south path. At the top there will be a small room guarded by a Hell knight. Inside is a switch, press it. Now, head to the northeast corner of the area, where you will find a teleporter. When you take it, slowly back up. If you go forward you will be teleported back.
Head to the northern area of the map, where there will be a berserk pack. When you pick it up, a door will open in front of you with several enemies and ammo for the shotgun. Head to the east area to pick up the shotgun in a room. Then, go to the south wall, where you will find a small corridor which leads to the blue key, located behind a wall that is actually a door.
Once you have it, head to the east wall. Turn north and look for a small section with two skull candles, which circle a door. Inside is the yellow key. Once you pick it up, go to the south end, where you will find the yellow door.
You will enter a kind of room with foliage. In the left corner is a switch. When you press it, you will activate a door next to the previous door where you entered with the yellow key. Go there.
Go down the stairs to the bottom, where you will find a silver switch which will open a door behind you. Inside is a marble texture which acts as the final switch, allowing you to exit the map.

Secrets[edit]
- In the middle of the map, get the berserk pack to the north, then head all the way to the south to get shotgun shells in a small corridor. (sector 75)
- Open the wall in Secret #1 to get a blue key. (sector 82)
- Pick up the yellow key, then go to the east waterfall to get shotgun shells. (sector 276)
