Text To Doom is a humorous 2018 PWAD by swifswaf that replaces all of the in-game sound effects with text-to-speech voices. It was created using tools such as Speakonia Voices, Microsoft Sam & Mike, and ScanSoft Daniel. Monsters and weapons, for example, now make new noises—such as the pistol, which says "bang" in a monotone, robotic voice when fired. The arch-vile, when awoken, now says, "Here comes flame boi," and when killed, the cacodemon will say, "Floating meatball down".
The WAD itself gained some attention at the time, including being featured in a Vargskelethor Joel video.
