The Apocalypse Project is a Doom episode replacement mod of nine levels, released by Daniel Hornbaker in July 1994.
An early four-map version of this wad, titled HELL ON IO, missions 1-4, exists, dated June 1994.[1]
This episode appears on Maximum Doom as APOCALY2.WAD.
Levels[edit]
E1M3 does not contain a normal exit, only a secret exit to E1M9.
E1M9 can cause vanilla Doom to crash due to the extremely tall sectors. As a result, a modified version of this WAD was created by Michael Novikov which changed the exit of E1M3 to send the player to E1M4. This version is also included in the Doom Speed Demo Archive download (see external link below).
