The Biovite Project is partial conversion for Doom II, created by Marc Rüther (Milian) for the ZDoom source port. It was originally released in 2005 as an in-development project, with the latest version, v5.0a from December 2007, containing five complete maps, and a sixth map planned but not materializing.
The project features a lot of new custom art, new enemies via DECORATE and new sprites and sounds for old foes, custom music written for it by the author, and utilization of multiple ZDoom features such as scripting. The backdrop of the mod revolves around the player investigating a facility owned by the mysterious "Biovite Engineering" company, rumored to be carrying out highly dangerous and illegal experimentation.
