The Blob

"The Blob" is an unused monster concept for Doom. Its intended purpose was to be a lost soul spawner originating from walls. It is speculated that The Blob would animate and spawn a lost soul upon seeing the player. It was recycled as the inside of the pain elemental's mouth during its attack.
