The Forgotten Portals is a single-level PWAD for Heretic, designed by Ken Phipps and released in January 2000. The Forgotten Portals is a hub-styled map that connects multiple areas into one single cohesive progression that requires the player to visit all to progress to the final exit. Order is irrelevant. It has a variety of different scenarios that include snowy areas, savannah-like plains, marble fortresses, and gothic buildings.

Other points of interest[edit]

  1. Open the yellow door and get on the step to the west to get a Pile of Mace Spheres. (sector 34)
  2. Cross to the right side from Secret #1 to get a Quiver of Ethereal Arrows and an Energy Orb. (sector 35)
  3. At the northwest end, there is a Morph Ovum on a platform. To get it, head north, then northeast and open the wall at the dead end. Go through and you will teleport to the Morph Ovum. (sector 108)

  5. When you enter the hall that has two doors, take the second door and use the northeast bookshelf to find a Map Scroll. (sector 840)
