This mod was a runner-up for the 2021 Cacowards on Doomworld! |
Time Tripper is a partial conversion for Doom II and GZDoom source port, designed by em essex (msx2plus), who also wrote all of the music. It was released on January 15, 2021, and selected as one of the runners-up at the 2021 Cacowards. Only the first episode (called "circuit" in game) has been released so far. The archive also contains TTMOD.pk3 file, that can be used as a gameplay mod to play other PWADs with Time Tripper's monsters, weapons and items. The second episode, End of Starchild, was spun off into its own standalone game, which was released on June 12, 2026.
