Tribute Quilt II is a single-level PWAD for Doom II that was officially released on September 22, 2024. A sequel to Tribute Quilt, it is a result of a community project organized by ViolentBeetle as a tribute to Doom II, with 31 mappers involved in the creation of the map. The map comprises 32 segments of 1024x1024 map units, with each segment based on a different level of Doom II. It uses the music track "Doom 2 Mashup" by Stuart Rynn (stewboy).

Walkthrough[edit]
Essentials[edit]
Other points of interest[edit]
Secrets[edit]
- In the Crusher segment (first one in the last row), go behind the switch and use the west side of the west column. Quickly run southeast and onto the ledge to the west. Ride up and use the wall to find barrels and a megasphere. (sector 30)
- In the Entryway segment (first one in the fifth row), there are two switches at the south wall. Flip the west one to open a compartment with a megaarmor and medikits. (sector 594)
- In the Entryway segment, take the west lift up, then jump east onto a block. Open the door to the north to see a column lowering which has a rocket launcher and two boxes of rockets. (sector 609)
- In the Entryway segment, take the west lift up, open the south wall, and flip the switch. Drop down and go northeast to get a super shotgun and shotgun shells. (sector 616)
- In the Citadel segment (third one in the last row), enter the citadel and go to the southwest corner which causes a soul sphere to lower. Instead of going to it, open the north wall to get a box of rockets and a berserk pack. (sector 187)
- In the Tricks and Traps segment (last one in the last row), go to the hub and open the north door. Flip the switch at the west side, return to the hub, then open the east door. Use the south of two switches here, then enter the north alcove on the east side and go north to get a backpack and a soul sphere. (sector 255)
- In the Waste Tunnels segment (last one in the fifth row), get to the central hall, open the center door, then go to the berserk pack. Open the wall behind the berserk pack to get a soul sphere. (sector 1095)
- In the Waste Tunnels segment, head to the southeast end and go behind the cage. Take the east lift down and use the green torch to the east. Return to the central hall and take the southwest lift, then flip the switch you see to access the plasma gun. (sector 1083)
- At the southeast end of the Focus segment (third one in the fifth row), step onto a tiny crate, then go to the moving wall in the middle. Look north and shoot a switch before it closes to open the way there from the north end. Go there to access the middle, then open the southwest doors to get a soul sphere. (sector 424)
- In the Wolfenstein segment (last one in the second row), go to the northeast end and use the wall there to find an energy cell pack, a megasphere, a backpack, and a super shotgun. (sector 2265)
- Open the door south of Secret #10's entrance and open the west wall to get a medikit, a rocket launcher, and rockets. (sector 2253)
- In the Circle of Death segment (fourth one in the second row), go to the cracked wall in the southeast corner and lower it. Ride up and get the armor bonuses and soul sphere. (sector 2156)
- In the Circle of Death segment, go to the northeast cracked wall and lower it to ride up to rockets and partial invisibility. (sector 2135)
- In the Pit segment (third one in the third row), go to the northeast end, lower the wall to the center structure, and open the door on the east side to get energy cells. (sector 1742)
- In the Pit segment, go to the northwest part and climb the steps to a soul sphere. (sector 1790)
- In the Grosse segment, open the central column to get a megasphere and a BFG9000. (sector 1816)
- Open the wall northeast of Secret #16 to get boxes of rockets. (sector 1817)
- Open the wall southeast of Secret #16 to get energy cells, medikits, and a plasma gun. (sector 1819)
- In the Living End segment (first one in the fourth row), get to the north side of the east entrance and flip a small switch on the south wall. This lowers two columns to the northeast and southeast, both of which contain a box of rockets and both of which count as the same secret. (sector 1308)
- Enter the Abandoned Mines segment from the south end (first one in the second row) and open the wall with pipes to the west to find a box of ammo and a box of shotgun shells. (sector 1876)
- Shoot the barrels east of Secret #20 and go on the ledge, then jump west to teleport to a ledge with a green armor. (sector 1874)
- In the lava at the east side of the Abandoned Mines segment, lower the lift, ride up, and jump to the switch to the south, which will lower the north ledge. Go there and ride up, then head west to get a soul sphere. (sector 1925)
- At the north end of the Abandoned Mines segment, open the northwest area, then flip the switch there. Quickly run back east and then northeast to twenty five armor bonuses and an invulnerability (which only appears on Hey, Not Too Rough or lower). (sector 1870)
- In the Chasm segment (second one in the second row), go to the southwest end and open the north wall to find a box of shotgun shells and a berserk pack. (sector 1567)
- In the Chasm segment, traverse the red pillars going east and land onto a compartment with boxes of rockets. Open the north wall here to get a megaarmor. (sector 1615)
- In the Gotcha! segment (third one in the first row), use the central switch where the cyberdemon (spider mastermind on Hey, Not Too Rough or lower) is, then head to the south ledge in this segment. Drop to the west and follow this path to a lift leading to energy cells. (sector 1284)
Bugs[edit]
A rocket (Thing 2482) and a medikit (2483) have no flags set for any of the three difficulty classes, so they do not actually appear in the level.
Demo files[edit]
This WAD features a single built-in demo, replicated in the DEMO1-3 slots. It requires Doom II v1.9 to be viewed and runs for 3:22.66 (7093 tics), showing off the level on Ultra-Violence.
