Doomguy's Warzone Gold Edition[edit]
But shouldn't I at least talk about the reboot of Doomguy's Warzone since that has something to do with the wad itself? ---Justice Infinity
- Sure, I guess that part is fairly unobjectionable. Grain of Salt 08:32, 30 May 2012 (UTC)
Unacceptable edit summary[edit]
We don't need to be called stupid in edit summaries. Especially not for edits that contain so many stylistic errors:
- We do not refer to Doom (2016) without the parentheses, that's not part of its actual title.
- We do not refer to "Doom 1" or "Doom 2"; it's "Doom" and it's "Doom II" respectively.
- Writing things like "hellish" and "real world" in quotations is called scare quotes and we don't use those.
It's enough logic for me to have the games listed in chronological order as the concept of fleshy hell areas and decor are manifestly a feature that has ALWAYS been part of the Doom series but had no official name until Eternal which felt it had to microexplain everything in its lore. The article nowhere suggests that hellgrowth was the name of the phenomenon before Eternal, only that it is absorbed under the paradigm retroactively. If that's "stupid" to you, well, learn to live with it would be my suggestion. --Quasar (talk) 01:16, 30 December 2022 (CST)
