I noticed today that someone had created the category "Delete".  Maybe you should finally add the VfD template to some of these articles, so they show up on Entryway for public comment.   Ryan W 17:41, 15 Jan 2006 (UTC)

Why do you think that Thematic Elements and No Brakes are articles of questionable value?    Ryan W 05:25, 10 February 2006 (UTC)

At the time I wrote that, I was a bit annoyed that Lutrov had signed up for an account just to edit his own WADs, which I have never heard of, and therefore was not sure if they were noteable. On reflection, I'm not best to judge since I don't read /newstuff much these days. I'm still wondering how to discourage this "silo editing" we're experiencing now and then, but I suppose it's only natural that people write about what they know... -- Jdowland 21:55, 5 September 2006 (UTC)
Also, not everyone agrees that a WAD has to be notable in order to have an article, unlike with people and web pages.  I've thought about writing a walkthrough for something godawful, like !CSRE2M2.WAD or 4OCTA.WAD, as a test case.  :>    Ryan W 00:07, 7 September 2006 (UTC)

Articles I think express information poorly: ...List of doom community people   Is that why Jon Dowland isn't linked there?  :>    Ryan W 21:10, 5 September 2006 (UTC)

Merely an oversight on my part :) -- Jdowland 21:55, 5 September 2006 (UTC)

Hi - Sorry, I've only just noticed this page. Some answers inlined. -- Jdowland 21:55, 5 September 2006 (UTC)

You mean you don't see that "new messages" box when you log in, like you do when someone posts to the main User talk: page?  Sounds like a MediaWiki bug.    Ryan W 15:55, 11 September 2006 (UTC)
