The comment about Doom RPG removing the red cross symbol for legal reasons is interesting. I certainly heard in the past about the Red Cross requesting game developers to not use the symbol inappropriately. Do you have a source for the claim that this is why it was removed in Doom RPG, though? Fraggle 14:43, 7 August 2009 (UTC)

the only source i could find was the development notes on wolf 3d classic i would assume the graphics on doom rpg were changed for the same reason. we may get verification when doom classic comes out.--Jeffpiatt2k4 18:38, 7 August 2009 (UTC)

The development notes say that it was added as a last minute thing. It may be that the cross was removed in Doom RPG for the same reason as well, but without a source it's impossible to know. I'm going to roll back your change until we know for sure. Fraggle 12:35, 8 August 2009 (UTC)
