Switch behind yellow bars[edit]

Hi, I cannot reproduce this in Chocolate Doom, and it seems to me this is something that, if it were possible, had been described many years ago. Can you provide more info? --Xymph (talk) 02:58, 26 February 2022 (CST)

I got curious and managed to record a demo of it. - SiFi270 (talk) 03:18, 26 February 2022 (CST)
I was able to do it in GZDoom by standing almost side-on to the switch, so it could be port-specific behaviour. Gauss (talk) 03:21, 26 February 2022 (CST)
Thanks, managed to do it in Chocolate Doom like in the demo. Still strange this wasn't described before. --Xymph (talk) 03:27, 26 February 2022 (CST)

Map music[edit]

Hi, when adding Earthless soundtracks, please make a complete reference with the link to the correct source, and the composer. Examples: map01, map02, map03 (but be aware some other tracks are from D2 or TNT). --Xymph (talk) 09:50, 2 March 2022 (CST)

Secret descriptions[edit]

Hi, while your contributions are welcome, they require a lot of clean up. In general, please keep an eye on Recent Changes for reviews and edits of your contributions. There's a lot to learn from those (and again). Specifically, please:

  • assign descriptions to the correct sectors, use an map editor to see which area has which sector number
  • do not duplicate wikilinks throughout the section, it is link spam
  • watch that punctuation: end sentences in a period not comma, start sub-sentences with a lowercase letter not uppercase
  • do not revert reviewer edits that corrected your edits
  • pinky is a casual nomer for what is called demon on the wiki

Thanks. --Xymph (talk) 04:53, 4 March 2022 (CST)

So now I'm wondering whether you read these guidelines and are not sure how to handle them (in that case, please point out what needs clarification), or are ignoring them, or are simply never reading your own talk page (then we will contact you another way). Can you at least respond here to start some kind of communication? --Xymph (talk) 11:04, 5 March 2022 (CST)
