Vae Victus is a seven-level episode replacement for Doom II designed for ZDoom, created by Derek Braun (Dittohead). It was uploaded to the idgames archive on January 19, 2005. A sequel, Vae Victus 2, was released in 2006.
The text file included with the Vae Victus release incorrectly identifies it as designed for limit-removing source ports; it is designed with ZDoom engine enhancements in mind, and is unplayable with limit-removing Doom II engine compatibility.

Trivia[edit]
- The WAD's title, Vae Victus, is a common misspelling of the Latin phrase vae victis, which means "woe to the vanquished".
