Viscous Realms is a single-level PWAD for Doom II and a Boom-compatible source port. It was designed by Horus and uses the music track "Mysteries of Egypt", composed by James Paddock (Jimmy). The PWAD also includes a small outro level, MAP02: "The End - Thanks for playing!".

Secrets[edit]

  1. In the main hub, go through the southwest bloodfall to find health bonuses, armor bonuses, and three teleporters. These teleporters lead to various places, and you can get a chainsaw, super shotgun, an energy cell, and a stimpack from these areas. (sector 1290)
  2. In the area with the rocket launcher tower, take the platforms southeast of the rocket launcher, press the switch with black skulls around it, then take the nearby teleporter to go back to the hub. Head northeast to the opening bars to find a soul sphere. (sector 3)
  3. West of the rocket launcher tower, head south from a small switch and jump south from the lift to the wall. Open the wall and follow the health and armor bonuses to a plasma gun. (sector 842)
  4. Open the red door leading to the balcony east of the rocket launcher tower. Head south to the window with four health bonuses and shoot the switch on the window's north end. This lowers the large crate to the north with a berserk pack. (sector 3175)
  5. After lowering the green switch in the southeast area (you need to solve several puzzles to get to it), press the switch, return to the hub, and head southwest to get a BFG9000 and energy cells. (sector 90)
  6. Open the yellow door that leads to the north end of the rocket launcher tower area. Drop to the southeast to a platform with a switch. Flipping the switch teleports you to a computer area map. (sector 1505)
  7. After lowering the yellow switch in the area west of the main hub, press it, return to the main hub, and head east. Take this path to a secret room where you can press the switches right to left to lower a megasphere. (sector 97)
  8. If you pressed the black, yellow, and green switches (mentioned in Secrets #2, #5, and #7), you can take the teleporter behind the starting point to a secret room with ammo and a backpack. (sector 1800)
