W3: Roots of the Weeping Mountain is the third map in the Realm of Water episode of Elementalism. It was designed by Ben Mansell (Bauul) and Gianluca Cilento (Remmirath), and uses the music track "Submerged" by Noelle Aman (Speedy). The par time defined in ZMAPINFO is 18:30.

Walkthrough

Letters in italics refer to marked spots on the map. Sector, thing, and linedef numbers in boldface are secrets which count toward the end-of-level tally.

Secrets

1. Open the first door and go behind the first column. Flip the switch to open the west wall with a berserk pack. (sector 477)
2. Head east and up the steps until you are in a big room near the east side. Open a wall to the east to get elemental wand ammo. (sector 304)
3. On the bridge leading out of the first area of the map, jump to the east to find boxes of rockets. (sector 280)
4. Go northeast from the hub to some steps which you should climb. You will soon come to two slanted beams. Go on the first one, then jump east twice to the east wall. Jump to the opening to the northwest to get to a megasphere. (sector 1382)
5. In the northwest halls, at the blue torch in the middle, jump south to the ledge and head west to get a megaarmor. (sector 1480)
6. In the red key area, go to the northwest corner and swim down to the east. Swim all the way up to find a corridor where you can drop to elemental wand ammo. (sector 4394)
7. In the area southwest of the hub, climb all the way to the top and go up the ramp to the west. Jump the ledges to the east and to the tunnel going east to a megasphere. (sector 4445)
8. In the area southwest of the hub, climb up the first ramp. Jump west to the two candles and enter the corridor here. At the end you can find energy cell packs. (sector 4477)
9. Rotate the central steps until you can enter it from the left side. Go to the second bridge which leads to an area to the northeast. Take a lift up and head to the yellow door. Open it so you can drop down to elemental wand ammo. (sector 4635)
