Xaser Acheron (or "Xaser, The Conquerer") is an American Doom modder, level designer, musician, programmer, and graphic artist. Regarded as "the Doom Community's truest polymath",[1] he is known for his many contributions to the Doom community.

He has been involved in projects such as the Doom the Way id Did series, Back to Saturn X and the Cacoward-winning independent game The Adventures of Square, as well as having received Cacowards for dead.wire, dead.air and being one of the main authors of No End In Sight and Syringe. On the multiplayer front, he is a major contributor to the 32in24 series. His gameplay mod Psychic has been regarded as "influential" to the gameplay mod scene."[2] As a software developer, Xaser has also made code contributions to the Eternity Engine.[3]

He is currently an active member on the Doomworld and ZDoom forums and a former judge for the Cacowards. At the Cacowards in 2021, Xaser received the Espi Award for Lifetime Achievement. He currently works for Nightdive Studios.[4]
