Knee-Deep in ZDoom maps

Z1M5: Phobos Lab is the fifth level of Knee-Deep in ZDoom, revisiting the original level with some new twists.

  1. At the beginning of the level, go to the north and then to the east. Get up the stairs next to the red key door and you will end up in a room with a computer table. Press on it, and a wall will open behind you, revealing a secret chamber similar to that of the original level. The chamber has a super shotgun, one box of shells, one health bonus and two armor bonuses. (sector 68)
  2. Just like in the original map, the platforms where the imps reside can be lowered. The one to the north has an openable wall to its right, which allows you to enter a room that holds a box of shells. Open the back wall of the room to find a green armor in a new area. (sector 49)
  3. In the green armor room of secret #2, you should see a red switch. When you press it, the message "Nothing seems to happen!" appears. Go back to the other side of the red key door and look behind the corner on the right. You will see that the orange-colored door you could not activate before is now open. Get inside and you will see Tormentor667's head on a stick. When you kill it, you will get a soul sphere. (sector 2595)
  4. The chaingun and computer area map secret in the computer room remains in its original position, which can be accessed by pressing a wall to the south. The lighting of the wall flickers powerfully and it is taller than many of the other walls in the room that have a similar lighting. (sector 1068)
  5. This is located in the silver key door room. When you enter and move forward, you will notice a partial invisibility powerup. To get it, just jump on the adjacent crates. (sector 3374)
  6. In the westernmost outdoor area, there is a base that has a door with yellow lights. Go behind the building and you will see a red-glowing floor vent with a berserk pack. (sector 2954)
  7. When you reach the yellow key inside the base mentioned in secret #6, look to the west of the automap and open the wall right in the center. Beyond it, there is the KDiZD Grenade Launcher and ten rockets. (sector 2207)
  8. In the dark room where the exit room is located, go to the west and you will see a wall with a flickering light in the center. Press it and you will get a light amplification visor. (sector 1514)
