ZDaemon Epic CTF (or just Epic CTF for short) is a megawad for Doom II and multiplayer ZDoom-based source ports, originally built for ZDaemon. The project was led by David Bernardi (Xsnake) to provide a new set of CTF maps following the huge success of the ZDaemon CTF series, and saw numerous contributions from members of the French Doom community, alongside other mappers active on ZDaemon. Epic CTF was released in three parts: the first release, containing the initial 10 maps, was published on October 6, 2007. The second portion of the megawad, dubbed "Map Pack 2", was released on April 17, 2009. The third and final portion, "Map Pack 3", was then released on May 21, 2010.
